Jeannie Madrid, Lab Technician

Jeannie Madrid moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to her children. She sold her business and moved to Watertown with her youngest son. She started at Strauss working on 2nd shift on the production floor, but when the Laboratory Supervisor offered her a temporary opportunity to expand her skill set and work in the lab, she took it.

She started at Strauss in February 2024 and in under 4 months she was a full-time Laboratory Technician. She never expected to enjoy lab work as much as she did and finds joy in troubleshooting and maintenance on our protein analyzers.

Outside of work she likes spending time with her family, hosting family dinners, and participating in community church events.
